MY TURN – Diploma Plus Program – Central High School

MY TURN Diploma Plus Programs work with young people ages 14 to 21 who are at risk of dropping out of high school or need additional support to be successful.  We provide a variety of services to meet the individual needs of our students including academic instruction and tutoring, college and career exploration, college and industry tours, paid and unpaid work- based learning opportunities, assistance with barrier removal, and more.

Eligibility Requirements

Chronic absenteeism (20 or more absences in previous school year), Basic Skills Deficient (Behind 1 or more grade levels, lowest 20% of class, or as determined by TABE/CASAS), Homeless (McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act), Court Involved Youth, Children of Incarcerated Parents, Foster Youth, Pregnant/ Parenting Youth, Student from a household that receives welfare benefits, Student who received free lunch, Student with an identified disability.

Being a member of the Partnership Network Work Group since it was founded and seeing the evolution of our partnerships growing has been rewarding.
