Media Power Youth Teaching and Classroom Resources

Media Power Youth offers media literacy and health curricula, including Media Literacy for Safe & Health Choices and Screenshots (digital wellness). We also partner with schools to address real-time media challenges, such as cyberbullying and the influence of media on substance use. We provide teacher’s guides, infographics, instructional materials, and other communication tools to support school initiatives. We host parent and family educational events and facilitate learning activities as a classroom guest. Our goal is to support educators and counselors in building students’ critical thinking and social emotional skills while inspiring creative media making and exploration across a range of academic subjects.

If you are an educator or youth-serving professional, please contact us to learn about our available resources.

Health and Wellness

Being healthy is so important to enable learning and building a positive and engaging community.

Basic Needs Volunteers

Basic Needs

Basic needs are defined as something that we must have in order to live. Recognizing that our students cannot thrive when they may be worried about basic necessities, this section provides resources across the community where essential services and supports can be found.

Early Childhood

Early childhood education not only prepares our youngest students to be in school, but also supports the development of a child’s social and emotional skills.
