MY TURN Employment Plus Program

MY TURN Employment Plus Programs work with young people ages 16 to 24 who are not actively engaged in high school or college.  We work with both high school graduates, and those in need of their high school credentials.

Eligibility Requirements

Youth who are: Low Income, Basic Skills Deficient (Below 9th grade reading or math, as determined by TABE), Homeless (McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act), Court Involved, Pregnant/ Parenting, From a household that receives welfare benefits, Without a high school diploma, Youth with an identified disability, and Foster Youth.

Being a member of the Partnership Network Work Group since it was founded and seeing the evolution of our partnerships growing has been rewarding. We are working to assure that there are equitable and accessible partnership opportunities through a consistent,clear process and expectations for all partners. This work is enabling Manchester to have sustainable, community driven programming to increase support and opportunities, while improving student outcomes. At the same time we are communicating with teachers, students, families and the community at large about our partners and resources through Compass.
