Family Support

Because children don’t come with a “How to Raise Me” guidebook, Waypoint’s Family Resource Centers offer an array of family support services for families with children ages 0-21. Services are designed to help your family through any type of challenge, whether it’s first time parenting, making ends meet, parental substance misuse, housing or employment instability, child wellness, child behaviors, education, or emotional stressors. Services may be provided in the comfort of your family home, or anywhere else you feel comfortable in the community.

Transportation Options

Services may be home-community- or center-based. Centers are typically located in centralized areas of town along transportation routes. Waypoint can provide transportation assistance via gas cards, bus passes, or other.

Voluntary - for families with children ages 0-21.

Pre-School, K-4, 5-8, 9-12

Basic needs are defined as something that we must have in order to live. Recognizing that our students cannot thrive when they may be worried about basic necessities, this section provides resources across the community where essential services and supports can be found.

Early childhood education not only prepares our youngest students to be in school, but also supports the development of a child’s social and emotional skills.

Being a member of the Partnership Network Work Group since it was founded and seeing the evolution of our partnerships growing has been rewarding. We are working to assure that there are equitable and accessible partnership opportunities through a consistent,clear process and expectations for all partners. This work is enabling Manchester to have sustainable, community driven programming to increase support and opportunities, while improving student outcomes. At the same time we are communicating with teachers, students, families and the community at large about our partners and resources through Compass.
