Navigate the Manchester Stars

New Hampshire Hospitality Month

In 2018, the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NHLRAEF) set out to establish the month of April as New Hampshire Hospitality Month to showcase these opportunities as viable career options for current middle and high school students. Governor Chris Sununu made it official with a proclamation that year, and since then, hundreds of students have connected to exciting careers in the industry.

Being a member of the Partnership Network Work Group since it was founded and seeing the evolution of our partnerships growing has been rewarding. We are working to assure that there are equitable and accessible partnership opportunities through a consistent,clear process and expectations for all partners. This work is enabling Manchester to have sustainable, community driven programming to increase support and opportunities, while improving student outcomes. At the same time we are communicating with teachers, students, families and the community at large about our partners and resources through Compass.
