Peer to Peer Prevention

Makin’ It Happen offers a variety of Peer-to-Peer trainings for both staff and students. General trainings focused on medicine safety, harm reductions and warning signs of mental distress are available for both staff and students. Train the trainer trainings are available for upper High school level students to be trained to present to Middle School level students. Current topic areas are over the counter medical safety, Know the facts and how to react vaping session, and age-appropriate Harm Reduction 101.

Best for Health class settings. Target audience is 6th - 8th grade level students.

Being a member of the Partnership Network Work Group since it was founded and seeing the evolution of our partnerships growing has been rewarding. We are working to assure that there are equitable and accessible partnership opportunities through a consistent,clear process and expectations for all partners. This work is enabling Manchester to have sustainable, community driven programming to increase support and opportunities, while improving student outcomes.
